Once a month, an envelope arrives at your door. Inside is a 4x6 art print of an original painting made right here in my downtown New Bern studio.. Every month, that means you have something you can frame and add to a gallery wall, building a collection of original art one month at a time. Or tuck it in a journal. Or add it to a greeting card and gift it to someone who needs it. Or save them all and watch a year of seasons and moods accumulate into something genuinely beautiful. Every print is made for that month and for the person opening the envelope. It is never stock art, never generic, never something pulled from a catalog. It is made specifically for this moment, this season, this feeling, and it arrives in your hands before it exists anywhere else.

Along with the print comes a letter from me, written from a friend who has been paying close attention for a long time. A prescription card with one small ritual for the month, something you actually do rather than just read about. An illustrated, collectible seasonal recipe from my kitchen, the kind of thing worth making on a Sunday afternoon and sharing with people you love. One or two coordinating stickers. Plus a few extras every month because some months just call for a little more.

Everything coordinates around a single feeling, an intention, something the month actually asks of you.

The prescription card is the part I am most proud of.

Your grandmother had small rituals. Ask for a penny when someone gives you a knife. Make an X in the air when a black cat crosses your road. Knock on wood. Wish on an eyelash. None of it was magic. All of it was the human instinct to mark a moment, to make a small gesture that says this matters and I am paying attention.

The prescription card lives in that tradition. Each month, there is a writing prompt and a small space for your handwriting. One sentence. One noticing. One thing you are gathering, releasing, or starting. Something grounded, something possible, something that asks only that you slow down for a few minutes and notice your life. The ritual is the point. The doing of it is the cure.

After a few months, you have a small stack of cards in your own words, a record of a year of paying attention to your life, and you will find you do not want to put it down.

Plus, each month, a few extras, which might be a curated playlist for the month's particular mood, a bookmark, a coloring page, a puzzle, a pattern, a game or activity to enjoy with family or friends, or something else entirely, depending on what the season calls for.

A little history.

We ran a subscription club here at Audra Style for six years, starting in September 2019, long before mail clubs became what they are today. At its peak, almost 500 people were receiving a little piece of us every month. We loved everything about it except the part where it ended.

The earring club was good while it was good, and we are proud of every month we send. It taught us something about what people actually need from a subscription, and we have spent a long time thinking about what comes next. The Common Cure is what we built with that knowledge.

*This is a recurring monthly subscription. Your card will be charged $12 automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime through your account portal with no hassle and no hard feelings.

Sign up by the 15th of any month, and that month's mail is yours. 

Sign up after the 15th, and you will receive the following month. We mail once a month. The envelope arrives when it arrives, which is part of the ritual.

June is for opening your eyes, as you have never seen any of this before.

That is where we begin.
