Blue Spiral Dangle Earrings — Hand Painted Wood — One of a Kind
Dangle earrings are, at their best, a small performance. These are a quiet one... clean cobalt spirals on white, a shape like a capsule or a domino, swinging from a hook with the unhurried confidence of someone who is not trying to get anyone's attention but has it anyway.
The shape is a softly rounded rectangle, wider than it is narrow, painted with two square spirals in deep cobalt on white. The marks are hand-drawn, which means they carry a slight irregularity that printing does not and cannot. The varnish is glassy and deep. The back carries a metallic gold wash.
At two inches long, they fall to a point just past the earlobe. The graphic is simple enough to wear with nearly anything. The fact that it is hand-painted is the kind of detail that rewards a second look.
