500 Miles Floral Print | Maximalist Flower Art by Audra Sampson
500 Miles
It started as a painting. Then my teenage daughter sat down at the piano and started picking out the notes to an old song, and suddenly it had a name.
That is how the best things happen. Not planned. Just true.
This bouquet doesn't hold back. Peonies and roses and daisies and blooms that don't have a name but absolutely deserve one, all of them tumbling out of a striped vase over a gold base against a sky that went full navy and never looked back. Every color showed up. None of them were asked to quiet down.
This one's for the song that gets stuck in your head at exactly the right moment. For the kid at the piano. For the painting that was already finished when the title found it.
Created by Audra Sampson in her New Bern, North Carolina studio, this maximalist floral print brings every color of the garden into one gloriously unbothered bouquet. It belongs anywhere a room needs to feel like something.
Paper prints are unframed and printed on thick satin poster paper. Signed on the front. Made to order in North Carolina.
Canvases are gallery-wrapped with 1.5" edges. Canvases up to 11x14 are finished in gold wash. 16x20 and larger canvases are finished in a coordinating navy. Canvases come ready to hang.
